We are extremely proud that annually, we have been able to save 9 tons of clothing and 11 tons of household goods, adding up to 20 tons per year saved from landfill. Over 9 years, we have been able to save 81 tons of clothing and 99 tons of household goods from landfill. This is so important to us, as we strive to care for our local community as well as our planet at large. We have done this by selling used goods, repurposing unwanted goods and goods that are perceived as unusable and mindfully recycling whatever we can. This mindfulness applies to all that we do and is a core value of our organisation.

Our volunteer cohort is a vibrant group ranging from school children to retirees and many in-between. We have people working in the warehouse doing a range of jobs from clothes sorting, jewellery, electrical checking and tagging and more. We also have volunteers who offer pro-bono services and skills that benefit our clients. We are always looking for new volunteers and are open to new opportunities, so if you have a special skill, we can find a place for you at Menora.
