Woodrow Lane sales

Approximately once a month, sometimes more, we turn the warehouse into a retail space, lovingly known by the wider community as Woodrow Lane. We convert the warehouse into a bustling boutique op-shop where we sell the goods, clothing, toys, homewares, jewellery and anything else that’s been donated. 100% of the proceeds of these garage sales go to the care and upliftment of our clients.

Woodrow Lane sales are not just garage sales, they are events and because our volunteers are friendly, fun and welcoming, we have curated a loyal and adoring customer base. On any given month, you will be able to attend a garage sale, designer sale and sometimes even art and retro/vintage sales. We open at 7am but due to our reputation for incredible high quality and low-priced goods, we often have queues of eager customers lining up from 6:30am.

Woodrow Lane has become the outward facing presence of the Menora Foundation and an extremely positive face of who we are.

I look forward to the sales at Woodrow Lane every month and make sure I’m there queueing up to get the best bargains. The atmosphere is wonderful, the volunteers are friendly and fun and it’s so much more than just a shopping trip. It’s my secret indulgence!

Join the Menora volunteer family

Our volunteer cohort is a vibrant group ranging from school children to retirees and many in-between. We have people working in the warehouse doing a range of jobs from clothes sorting, jewellery, electrical checking and tagging and more. We also have volunteers who offer pro-bono services and skills that benefit our clients. We are always looking for new volunteers and are open to new opportunities, so if you have a special skill, we can find a place for you at Menora.
