Youth Involvement

Every week, we have youth from the age of 9 through to late teens in the warehouse, volunteering their time and learning all about what it means to be a generous volunteer in our community. Our Youth co-ordinator, together with volunteers and youth leaders guides them as they clean, sort, pack, hang clothes, put together food packs and other warehouse activities. Through this kind of volunteering and inter-generational cohesion, we are growing a love for Menora, a commitment to charitable giving and developing the future leaders of our organisation.

Join the Menora volunteer family

Our volunteer cohort is a vibrant group ranging from school children to retirees and many in-between. We have people working in the warehouse doing a range of jobs from clothes sorting, jewellery, electrical checking and tagging and more. We also have volunteers who offer pro-bono services and skills that benefit our clients. We are always looking for new volunteers and are open to new opportunities, so if you have a special skill, we can find a place for you at Menora.
