Our community needs us
We recognise the dire hardships that vulnerable members of our community are experiencing.
By providing both practical support and heartfelt kindness to alleviate the impact of financial and psycho-social uncertainty, Menora connects our community in the spirit of kindness and compassion, advocating for the importance of a connected local community and the collective power of giving.
We have become an interactive, intergenerational and intra-community hub where we all work together for the upliftment of those needing support. Through volunteering and spreading acts of kindness, we have come such a long way in our quest to help those among us who are facing hardship to not just survive, but to thrive.

We provide financial disbursements, social welfare and psycho-social support, professional services by a network of pro-bono donors and food baskets and money for Jewish festivals.
The majority of the services we offer are provided by skilled members of our community. If you can offer assistance with a professional skill or service, your time or a donation, please reach out to us.
Every donation makes a world of difference to the people we care for.
Nobody in our community should experience homelessness, domestic violence or food insecurity. Sadly, these are just some of the issues that some in our community are facing right now. If you can, please consider donating to help our community to uplift itself.

Join the Menora volunteer family
Our volunteer cohort is a vibrant group ranging from school children to retirees and many in-between. We have people working in the warehouse doing a range of jobs from clothes sorting, jewellery, electrical checking and tagging and more. We also have volunteers who offer pro-bono services and skills that benefit our clients. We are always looking for new volunteers and are open to new opportunities, so if you have a special skill, we can find a place for you at Menora.
